From daily carry (reinforced base, laptop pocket) to travel (passport pocket, luggage strap). We push the usecase scenarios for a single bag to a new level.
VARIETY
ARTIST
ANATOLY SHABALIN K.
Visual artist based in Berlin. Studied at Central Saint Martins in London. His practice moves between painting, sculpture, and performance.
Shabalin's work is rooted in the experience of displacement. Frequent migrations have shaped an artistic language that explores fragility, survival, and the search for belonging. His figures often appear isolated, caught in bare, container-like rooms. These characters learnt to grow spikes to protect themselves from the hostile world around them.
Protémoa first collaborated with Anatoly in September 2024. Together we opened a pop-up store in Paris during the Fashion Week. Anatoly did creative direction as well as the series of various artworks and a performance. This event attracted many people and opened a new chapter for Protemoa of interacting with our community offline. This bag is a continuation of our friendship.
